WHO: Chase Rabideau Band with Good Liar/Pineola
WHERE: The Tractor Tavern, Ballard, WA
TIMINGDoors, 7:30pm. Then 8pm-8:35 – Good Liar/8:50-9:30 – Pineola/9:45 – Chase Rabideau Band

MORE: I’ll be playing with Pineola (you must hear Leslie Braly singing like an angel) for the first time in a long time.  And looking forward to listening to Good Liar and Chase Rabideau who is rocking my speakers as I write this.

JULY gets even busier with shows, indoors and out!
I am lucky enough to be playing with these fine people (more details to come):

July 8 – w Julia Francis on Vashon Island
July 14 w Sera Cahoone in Kenmore, WA
July 16 w Betsy Olson Band at Mose’s Auto in Georgetown, Seattle
July 17 w Tony Fulgham (also on the bill, the inimitable Amanda Winterhalter) at Hotel Albatross, Ballard

And one more important show that I am not playing, but want to promote because it will be fantastic!

BeatleConcert Unplugged is an acoustic showcase from Strawshop’s new favorite 12th Ave party: BeatleConcert (appearing later this year with a full band). On Sunday, July 10, join Paul Hiraga, Bhama Roget, and Jeff Brown from the band for an intimate evening of the Beatles interpreted for guitar, piano, and vocals.

These are strange and difficult times.  Live Music helps, doesn’t it?

Shows this Week

Hi Friends!

Live Music is good for the heart & soul.

Here are some shows I’m playing this very weekend:

WHEN: Friday, June 17
WHO: Aline & Wes/Darren Loucas/Amanda Winterhalter
WHERE: The Royal Room, Columbia City.  5000 Rainier Avenue South, Seattle.
TIMINGDoors, 6:30pm. Then, roughly, 7:30 – Aline & Wes, 8:30 – Darren Loucas (I’ll be with Darren along with Eric Eagle on drums), 9:45 – Amanda Winterhalter & her fab band.

MORE: This is such a great lineup.  I can’t wait to be sandwiched (with Darren Loucas) playing between Aline & Wes and one of my best pals, Amanda Winterhalter, who will bring the house down.

WHEN: Saturday, June 18
WHO: Darren Loucas & Friends (yours truly on bass, Mike Stone on drums, Ron Weinstein on Hammond B3)
WHERE: Owl ‘n Thistle Pub, downtown Seattle. 808 Post Avenue, Seattle 98104
TIMING:8pm – 11pm. A long set with a break at some point to hang with YOU!

LINK TO TICKETS and INFO: NO COVER. Not much info to share.  Here’s their FB page, but our event has not posted yet.

MORE:  Local legendary drummer Mike Stone joins us (on his birthday) for this special night of rockin’ and swingin’ Blues and more.  Everyone loves a Hammond B3 organ, Darren Loucas on electric guitar, and some hot solos from both.  I’ll be holding down the low end, per usual…

Hope to see some of you out and about!
