Downpilot Returns! 3/15 Tractor Tavern

15 Mar

Dear Lovers of Live Music, I’m really, really excited about this mid-week show:

I can’t believe that it’s been over four years since the last local Downpilot show – but it has been.  And we’re back after some interesting times…

The incredibly talented, one and only Paul Hiraga has reconvened the band (Jeff Brown, Anne Marie Ruljancich, Mike Musburger, Me) to celebrate the release of the new album, THE FORECAST, at our beloved Tractor Tavern.

And we’ll have freshly pressed Vinyl and CDs available ahead of the official 3/17 release date.

Our good friends the Danny Newcomb band will be kicking off the evening, so it should be a great night out. Please come out and support live music!

Doors 7pm Show 8pm (nice and early for a school night)
$15 advance / $18 door

Hope to see you there for this very special night.

March Shows

3 Mar

Yup.  It’s March!  Here are some great shows I’m playing this month.

Saturday, March 4 – Donn Paulk’s Birthday Bash!
The Jelly Rollers –  Darrell’s Tavern, North Seattle.  Doors at at 8pm,  we play at 9pm, opening for The Golden Road
Details here:[%7B%22surface%22%3A%22page%22%7D]%7D
The Jelly Rollers just don’t play very much these days. But we heart Donn.  And we’ve played several of his Birthday shows. And Sean Divine is coming in from the Peninsula to play!  Eric Eagle on drums, Darren, Reb, Sean.
Don’t miss this one!!

Monday, March 6
Caitlin Sherman, Belltown Yacht Club, Belltown.  With Flesh Produce, Brent Amaker, Carrion Kids
This is The Freakout Weekender After Party – so if you don’t get your fill this weekend, come see us.  Or come see us anyway…
Details here:

Wednesday, March 15
Downpilot, Tractor Tavern, Ballard.  Doors 7pm, we play after Danny Newcomb who starts 8pm (you’ll be home by 10:30!)
This is a rare show.   Downpilot full band does not come out without some coaxing and/or  new record.  It’s full band featuring superstart Paul Hiraga, Jeff Brown, Mike Musburger, Anne Marie Ruljancich, and yours truly.

Live music is necessary!
